Ma’Heo means Great Spirit, Great One, or God. The word Ma’Heo’o is Cheyenne, a Native American language. This energy system works by combining the elements Earth, Air, Water, and Fire with the Great Spirit to activate and promote HEALING in various situations. It is a simple yet powerful system that can be used by anyone. Ma’Heo works with 6 symbols. The first 4 represent the elements and enable connection with the energy of Gaia – Mother Earth. Combined and activated by the Great Spirit, it becomes a very powerful system that allows for great ability to channel energy, the use of colors and lights for EXPANSION OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND HARMONIZATION OF BEINGS, and the grounding of Higher Intelligence, which promotes calm, peace, and relaxation. This system combines the subtlety of Reiki with the power of the Earth’s elements.
Ma’Heo’o Reiki will lead you to connect with your Totems, to know your sacred name, your power animal, and to balance your body with the 5 elements of the Earth. There are 3 Attunements in Ma’Heo’o Reiki. The first 2 enable and improve your connection and perception of the elements through Mother Earth. The symbols not only allow harmony with the elements, but also harmony between the elements and the human condition. The third is the Master initiation that connects you to the Great Spirit, and enables you to work with the Power of the Earth and the Spirit to illuminate and bring BALANCE.
Ma’Heo’o Reiki is a style of Reiki that is not exclusively based on Tibetan or Indian techniques, but on an approach based on the healing practices of Gaia – Mother Earth. Ma’Heo’o is a complete system in itself, but it is comparable to Traditional Reiki because both systems use specific symbols and techniques, such as the laying on of hands. Both also use energy attunements as the channel for energy to flow from Master to Disciple. Reiki in Japan is a generic term used to describe many types of healing and work on a spiritual level.
This is not exclusive to the Usui system. In Ma’Heo’o Reiki, the name Reiki is used to indicate a Shamanic system of Spiritual Healing through the use of hands, based on techniques centered on Mother Earth to bring Divine realization to all. Ma’Heo’o is based on techniques that promote Intense Healing and enhance the flow of energy through all beings. These techniques will enable you to be ONE with Mother Earth and the Great Spirit. In this manual you will learn about the history of Healing, Native Spirituality, and how to correctly control the Flow of Energy through your Body. This system enables you to treat all living beings: humans, animals, plants, water, insects, the environment, the universe, etc.
At levels I & II: studies include symbols, techniques for individual application, application to others, distance work, sacred names, shamanic breathing, power animals, sacred dance, medicine wheels, and individual medicine wheels.
At the Master level: You attune more deeply to all the symbols, the use of shamanic instruments in Reiki work, the 7 Sacred Initiations, and the Medicine Wheel in a group setting, and learn how to begin.
There are no prerequisites for learning and working with Ma’Heo’o Reiki.
By learning to quiet your mind and creating a sacred space within yourself for your practices, you will gain the ability to create your own style of working with energy in your spiritual practice.
There are many schools of thought that describe the ability of human beings to align themselves with the energy that permeates all things.
